Quality Assurance

Our translators are dedicated in their commitment to produce technically accurate and culturally appropriate translations through multiple checks and crosschecks at all levels. These multiple assurance checks are maintained to ensure all projects meet the client's standards and include:

We are constantly upgrading our hardware and software in order to provide the latest technology and file compatibility. E-mail, modem, fax, courier or regular mail can arrange delivery, and the file can be in any one of several formats (Microsoft Word, WordPerfect, PowerPoint, ACCESS, EXCEL, etc., plus typesetting if necessary).

Our Translation process

• E-mail, modem, fax, mail or courier receives orders.
• The document to be translated is carefully reviewed to determine the subject matter, complexity, and length of the text.
• The time and cost of translation are calculated and a price quoted to the client.
• Once our services are contracted, a chief translator is carefully selected, with the required background and experience to best meet client needs.
• For consistency on files requiring services on an ongoing basis, a specific team of translators and proofreaders is assigned to the client.
• Upon completion of the first draft translation, proofreaders review the text for content and layout on the one hand, and for grammar and fluency on the other.
  
  

The finished product is given to our administrative staff ready for delivery in any one of several file formats, as requested by the client when placing the order. It can be frustrating to have doubts about a French translation, especially when you do not speak the language. We can go over existing translations and correct any mistakes; just send us both the English source and the French text. We also proofread documents written in French. By providing your customers and business associates with literature that is accurately written in their own language, you demonstrate a kind of professionalism and respect that will reflect favourably on your department or company.
